Booting the stack0%
Amaan Zaidi — Backend & Full-Stack Developer

Systems that run in production.

I build real-world systems, developer tools and the infrastructure that ships them, then deploy them.

Scroll to explore
01 Backend

APIs, auth, queues and workflow engines on Node.js.

02 Infrastructure

Docker, AWS, Nginx and CI/CD, all the way to production.

03 Developer tools

Open-source tooling that removes the boilerplate.

04 Security & networks

How packets, protocols and trust actually work.

01 — About

I learn how systems work by building them.

I'm Amaan, a second-year Computer Science student and a backend-focused full-stack developer. I care less about demos and more about what happens after the demo: queues, databases, deployments and the 502 at 2 a.m.

I've shipped a visual workflow engine, published an npm scaffolding CLI, and built the backends for a college fest platform (RBAC, registrations, gatepasses) and an S3-backed CMS on EC2. Along the way I've expanded EC2 volumes, chased Nginx 502s, untangled Drizzle migrations and wired GitHub Actions deploys over SSH. I also teach networking and security at our college dev club.
